Yepp Maxi Easyfit Adapter - Black

Highly recommend this adaptor easy and simple to install and quick to use with child seat. Only giving one star short of five as I purchased in October 2021 used a few times before winter with my 16 month old now that spring is here I tried to remove from my bike to move it onto my new bike and the part are bent/wrapped meaning I cannot remove it from my old bike at all it is stuck in place. Really love the item so purchasing a new one to go with my new bike.;

Overall a great adapter. Only issue is that its a feels counter intuitive in putting it on. The allen wrench with handle was very useful in getting it tight. We found that if we tightened the first bolt about 85% (just enough that it did not fall off the platform it was mounted too but enough to allow for some shifting) then tighten the second bolt that it allowed for final adjustments without worrying about the whole thing falling off.;

Seat adapter was super easy to install and feels really secure. I added the Yepp child seat and works awesome together. I have no worries with putting daughter into it and she loves it.;

It clamps onto the current bike rack and makes removing the seat really easy. You can’t adjust it with the seat in since the leg pockets block the screw ends so you will need to test the seat with the kid in it and you to make sure there’s enough room before you actually need to use it.
I like it. My husband says it raises the center of balance which can take some getting used to. The extra weight of a little person can also take some adjustment. Overall it works well and gives them some bonding time without kids going crazy.;
