This device needs to be paired ASAP when it is shake around good or snapped into belt configuration. If you do not pair it within 30 seconds the device will lock you out of pairing functionality until you unbelt and leave idle for a few minutes and try again. If you pair all of your devices to wahoo fitness app and then to your Zwift through zwift companion app on your mobile device it seems to perform better that way but still temperamentally. The device has always been very accurate for me. If you didnt know what was going on with the lack of response and the lockout from connecting it would be easy to assume the battery was dead. The device says users are not supposed to replace the battery. As far as comfort goes you get what you see. It doesn't hurt to wear but it's noticeable while moving that you are wearing it. If you struggle to pair I can't stress enough that you need to put the device down for 3-5 minutes while preparing your other device to immediately be paired. As soon as you move the belt and click it into place and see it is active you need to pair it ASAP. If for any reason it fails to provide bpm you need to unpair and perform this step. My device however once paired and range maintained stays pretty well connected. My bpm tends to stay 120-185 as I am doing high intensity training. This device may struggle with lower rates I do not know for sure. I have had low accurate 80's but not thoroughly tested.;

Comparing this to other heart rate monitors I've owned the fit on this is amazing. Very comfortable to wear does not need to be too tight in order to prevent slipping. The sensors are integrated into the elastic part of the strap and eliminates the large uncomfortable hard plastic part that most HR monitors have. I wear when cycling and have never had the strap slip in fact the grip is so good I have to take my jersey off to slide off the strap when the front is unattached.

Giving four stars only because the signal occasionally drops for a second or two.;

I had been using a wrist based HRM for indoor training but noticed terrible accuracy. It also killed the wrist based unit's battery every time which became tiresome. So noticing the Tickr was updated and release was imminent I picked up a Tickr 2 on launch in May '20. The unit had its quirks including sometimes taking up to 20 minutes to lock on to my HR and the 2032 batteries dying fairly quickly. However once it got going the accuracy was there and I enjoyed having a dedicated device for the task. Updating firmware and switching batteries would solve severe accuracy loss and all was well until just one week ago.
The device would no longer transmit HR data! Suffice to say I tried the usual tricks but no dice. It was time to interact with Wahoo support...
Well nothing but good things to say here. Opened a support ticket on Jan 31 with proof of purchase and by morning of Feb 2 Wahoo ships a replacement with tracking number! So cant recommend this product enough since Wahoo stands by their product and honors warranty with no fuss. The new unit's HR strap is different than the one I received from the launch timeframe. I suspect that was the issue and it has been iterated on and improved.;

Works great! For all those complaining about reading zero you have to wet the sensor band as you do for most heart rate bands.;
