Recently purchased this Whiskey carbon bar as an upgrade to replace an aluminum bar on my fat bike. So far after one 26 mile trail ride I’m very happy with the vibration dampening the lower weight and aesthetically it’s a clean and unique looking bar that appears well constructed - I’m personally not a fan of flashy excessive branding or graphics on components or parts so I appreciate the simpler look of this bar. I decided to give Whiskey a chance because they have a good reputation for higher quality and reliable products in the adventure biking and fat bike community and a decent warranty on carbon parts (5 years). Even though I’ve only had one ride so far with this bar it’s a trail I’ve ridden many times and I had noticeably less hand/arm fatigue and dropped 170grams compared to the aluminum bar I was using.

Not an issue for me because I’m using this bar on my bike primarily for moderately aggressive MTB trails and for bike packing but if you’re looking for a handlebar with a lot of compliance/flex this isn’t the best bar at least not compared to carbon bars by OneUp Components.

Time will tell about durability but so far my initial impressions are all positive and 5-star for this handlebar.;
