Unless you are nine feet tall and need to carry very long and thin items this seems awkward. The back is stiff which is helpful in keeping things organized. However the back is at least two inches taller than listed so it will not work for what I needed. If it was pliable I could fold it but it is super stiff. I was so excited to replace my old "Flap Jill" version with this one but instead I returned it and am still using the old-school style.

Love this bag i have been using for everyday wear since i got it. I can tell you my backpain has deceased significantly. I had a Tumi before this which was killing my back. Really good find.
