This product is great for protecting spots where cables rub or arms from your rack rub. I returned mine because the clear wasn’t clear.;

FYI the stickers have a texture to them and are not smooth in any way.

They seem thick and durable enough but not appropriate for a road bike really. Caveat emptor;
