          These were exact replacement pads for my Shimano discs at a very fair price. Installation was a 5 minute job. Remove wheel. Use a screwdriver or other flat bladed tool to compress the pistons before removing the old brakes. Remove the cotter pin Slide out the old pads. . Use the enclosed spring clip and slowly push the new set of pads back into the pistons. Reattach the cotter pin and bend the end slightly. Presto! You're done. If there's any rubbing or squeaking there are plenty of videos on Youtube that show how to readjust the calipers if necessary. Happy stopping!;

          I recently had my front brake hose replaced to make it longer. When I reinstalled the assembly on my bike the noise was horrendous. They denied that they contaminated it but the truth is I installed these replacement pads and I had my great quiet brakes back. I have the Shimano M395 model and these fit perfectly. They were quiet right from the start and only needed a short "bedding" or "seating" to get naximum power. I'm ordering another set for my rear brakes that still have a light squeal that has been there since I bought the bike a year ago. Now I'll be able to ride in the woods without scaring all the animals.;

          Perfect so far. Quiet and good 'feel' not to 'grabby'. Amazing packaging!

          These Clarks pads arrived in the nicest most protective package that I have ever seen brake pads packed in. They came in a jewel case like CD's come in and protected with a piece of foam. Every other pad that I have ever purchased came shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard sometimes even distorting the spring. Not the case here the packaging definitely did not distort the spring it is not bent or messed up at all. I read another comment about these pads in which the spring was messed up I did not have this issue. Perhaps the company changed their case or method of packing.

          The installation was very easy and they broke in quickly. I am impressed with the 'feel' of these pads (on the rear of my hardtail) they do not lock up the back tire unless you want to. One finger can lock up the rear if you want but it doesn't happy all the time like the stock pads or like other low cost pads that I have used over the years. Most importantly to me they do not squeal!!! I cannot speak about the longevity of the pads as I only have a few rides on them.

          Very impressed will buy these again.;
