This is a beautifully crafted tool! Works perfectly and should last several lifetimes. You could also beat down any attacker with one swift swing! Although the tool could slip from your hand once covered in any liquids. Maybe knurling the handle would be helpful for multiple attackersÔøΩ

There are several methods of tightening/removing the lockrings from Shimano rear cassettes but the high-end easy path (used in most bike shops as well) is by using this solid steel FR-5.2H. This baby reeks "shop quality" in both appearance and precision. The only downsides? ... It is priced accordingly and is a partial ripoff of basically the same tool made by Abbey (the Abbey version has two adapters at the end instead of one ... one for Shimano and one for Campagnolo). I'm not sure most home mechanics will get enough use from it to justify its cost but if you do frequent bike repairs this is pure quality. One star deduction for the high price to four stars overall.

Works well. IÔøΩve removed multiple cassettes with this tool and easily re-tightened them without losing grip or seeing any sort of deformation or play in the tool.
