As chainring nut wrenches go this is the best of several I’ve tried and seems least prone to slipping. Works particularly well with Shimano bolts/nuts where the fit in the slotted nut is snug and the tool is usually only needed early in tightening if at all. Can’t speak for the dustcap tool as I’ve never used it.;
