The angle set bearings are much smoother than previous ball bearing headsets. Not only that they are much easier to install. If you are in a pinch and have a dumbbell weight with removable weight plates this can be used to install a headset. Just go slowly ensure you maintain proper alignment and support your front wheel/fork assy. Tighten slowly until you see no spaces and stop prior to the headset binding from over tightening.;

Headset seems great but the crown race seems to be the wrong size. It doesn't fit in the bottom cup properly and also for some reason it will not mount parallel properly to the fork. I'm pretty disappointed with it.;
