I just converted my bike to a front hub drive e-ebike with a 26 inch wheel. I was having a dickens of a time getting my brake shoe to line up properly with the wheel rim - it kept migrating upward onto the tire itself no matter what I did. My previous brake was an Avid Single Digit 7 which have always been some of the best V-brakes ever made. Looking at the brake shoe mounting slots on this Box Three I could see that it should be possible to get the brake shoe lower than it was on the Avid (and thus contact the rim where it should) so I bought one. I am pleased to say that my problem is solved - the brake shoe now goes exactly where it should firmly contacting the rim. There is also ample clearance over a 26 x 1.75 tire. Even with the 85mm arm I clear the tire AND a fender with no interference - see photo.

I am writing this to assure you it DOES work perfectly fine with a 26" wheel. If you have some massive knobby tires you may have trouble but for me it works perfectly with my Schwalbe Marathon Plus 26 x 1.75 tires and fender. I spent half a day researching on the internet trying in vain to find the answer to a very basic question that should be something the manufacturer should state on their own - whether this fits a 26" wheel. I even asked a vendor on Ebay who told me it would NOT work with 26" wheels. Yet it does and quite well.

In summary excellent quality brake that looks great and completely solved my problem. If anyone is wondering about V-brakes on an Ebike I can tell you they work perfectly fine. Especially if paired with the "Kool Stop Lightweight Holder Version 2 V-Type Brake Pads for Electric Bikes". I have used that and had zero issues with stopping a fully loaded bike with myself plus full panniers and pulling a trailer behind with 80 lbs. of groceries. That is 350 lbs total weight and the v-brakes have never had a problem stopping that load. You do have to be looking ahead and judge your speed and distance - but with responsible riding you should never have an issue with quality V-brakes and these Box Three's are definitely quality.;
