From gravel adventuring to drop-bar dirt mashing, the Connector is capable of tackling any terrain. A versatile tread pattern featuring tightly-spaced center knobs combined with aggressive side knobs is mated to our Tubeless Complete construction. The result is a fast rolling, highly tractable, all-terrain tire ready for everything from backroads to singletrack.

  • Dynamic:Silica4 compound is formulated to minimize rolling resistance while enhancing wet grip
  • Tubeless Complete: A proprietary design that features all the benefits of a Tubeless Ready (TLR) tire but will also better maintain inflation pressure than a traditional TLR tire. A multi-compound material layer is added to the tire casing allowing for improved air retention while providing additional puncture and cut protection with minimal increases in weight. This unique design means more sealant remains after installation, ready for the moment you need it
  • The R:Shield is a breaker belt found underneath the tread cap, providing an extra layer to improve puncture protection while maintaining optimal rolling resistance characteristics

A little heavy but bulletproof. I have these tires set up "ghetto tubeless" and they are working fine. I go over plenty of hard-pack but I also ride gravel paths where there are plenty of opportunities for snake bites on sharp rocks. No flats so far.

Pretty easy to set up tubeless. Very good on tarmac with only a very slight hum. Excellent in just about every dry off-road condition. Clears mud fairly well and has better traction in damp and wet off-road conditions than most other “hybrid” tires that straddle tarmac and off-road riding. Still loses traction in muddy conditions because the knobs are still fairly low profile compared to dedicated off-road tires.

Haven’t experienced any flats that the sealant couldn’t fix. The tire is quite stiff above 35psi (recommended minimum pressure) due to its puncture resistant construction. Had success running slightly lower pressure on hookless rims and even dropping a few psi improves the ride comfort and off-road manners significantly.

Highly recommend.;

I needed replacements for the Hutchison Overrides that were on my bike s as they weren’t grippy enough on wetish roads. After my very bad experience with the overrides I started searching for a tire with better bite. I was intrigued by the Good Years but was a bit nervous about the lack of user reviews all I can say is that I’m really happy I got them. I was able to easily Mount them tubeless using a floor pump and they lose about 5psi per week without me using any sealant. At first I didn’t want to add sealant until just before I was going to ride now I just want to see how long they’ll maintain pressure without sealant. The tread is similar to the clement xplore’s but the side walls are much stiffer. They feel very peppy to me the feel as fast as the Voyager Hypers on my other bike again the casing on the Connector is stiffer. The grip on the Connectors is exactly what I was looking for so I’m happy there.

That being said there are everything I was hoping for in a tire reasonably fast and lots of grip on mixed terrain. The fact that they were easier to set up and hold air better than any other tubeless tire I ever owned is a bonus.

A couple more things I’m just a guy that rides bikes and an car from an expert on tires and the tires measure ~42mm wide in my 24mm ID rims but fit the RLT RDO they’re on.;
