If you are a road cyclist, you probably have more than a few bikes. If not, what’s the matter with you? I just cannot get rid of a bike when I purchase a new one, so I keep my bikes around forever. Talking 30+ year old bikes that are still working. Of course, you have to maintain them, including handlebar wrap and new cabling. This is where the ez bend segments come in handy. Yes, the old ones work fine, but I do upgrade my old, non-compressionless housings with the newest, compressionless stuff from Jagwire. And it makes sense to replace the bar wrapped segment with these. Installation is easy and these are relatively inexpensive. There are plenty of DIY sites out there to show how to tinker with your bike. My favorite site is Park Tool.

You get enough of these to last for years, probably a one time purchase, but worth it, and recommended.;

A brake cable only kit comes with enough to do multiple bikes. But you have to buy another set of these to make that happen. It’s worth it.;
