This shouldn’t be an afterthought when installing mechanical disc brakes - particularly road brakes wher the mechanical advantage is reduced.

Completely changes the feel in the brake pull and for long lines as is found on cargo bikes - the difference is dramatic.;

I am adapting a 21 speed derailleur bicycle for use as a motorized bike using a 4.4 HP chainsaw two stroke engine. The engine will turn the pedal crank shaft through a gear reduction system and will be able to exceed 40 mph. I can't afford a fully hydraulic disc braking system so bought these brake cables. I am using a hybrid type of "cable actuated" hydraulic brake caliper and the design of these cables give excellent feel and feed back when applying the brakes. These "compressionless" brake cables cost more than regular brake cables but are worth it.

Wenn der Druckpunkt der mechanischen Scheibenbremsen mit normaler Bremszughülle zu weich ist ist das hier die Lösung. Drähte in der Hülle laufen tangential anstatt spiralförmig. Dadurch viel druckstabiler. Einziger Nachteil: weniger flexibel.
Der Quantensprung im Druckpunkt ist jeden Stern wert.;
