Hard to find normal tread for 29 inch tires. Son wore out knobby tires that came with the mountain bike. He just goes back and forth to school. They roll much smoother and they grip turns well. Longevity we shall see. Just got them..;

Just wore out my first set after about 5000 miles of commuting. Great tires. Low rolling resistance but you can bang in to curbs and rocks with no pinch flats. I wish they could take a higher pressure than 65 psi but not worth taking off a star for that.;

Great all around city or rail trail tire. I purchased for my spare mountain bike rims so I could ride around the neighborhood streets and rail trails during the off season of mountain biking in Michigan. Mounted up very easily and inflated to 55lbs of pressure to start with. They are performing very well. The tires corner really well but not as fast as I had hoped they would be. Seem very durable and should last me a long time for my off season winter riding around the neighborhood.;

Perfect fit for my HT 29er rims!!! I initially wanted an indoor winter trainer but didn't want to be stuck in the garage spinning away (boring)... I've put around 200 road miles on them so far and they provide plenty of feedback. 2.0 with is plenty comfortable with 45lbs rear and 40lbs psi in front . I weigh around 175 lbs and comfort is great. Tread pattern provides confidence through the wet also. Sidewalls are rigid unlike a traditional mtb tire. I set these tires up tubeless with Stans Notubes to keep the weight down (not sure if tubeless is recommended) So far so good I always check my air pressure before each ride.. Maxxis yellow badge on each side of tire is pretty cool also..;

I was looking for a decent on road tire for my mountain bike and found it with a set of these tires!!
They have excellent grip and lower the rotational resistance vs the knobby tire the bike came with;
