Narrative:
I recently purchased a new bike.
It had a sweet set of Chris King hubs laced to carbon rims... at least it would.
You see when I first bought the bike it had a Chris King rear wheel and a dt swiss front that was 15x110 and was paired with a Rockshox Reba RL fork. The previous owner said I could swap the boost wheel for the 15x100 Chris King wheel.
Now obviously boost spacing has its advantages yada yada yada. I don't care. This bike is a steel hard tail and the rear is 135mm spacing with QR! So front boost is not super important as this bike is not suited for anything that would really warrant the benefits. Plus I really wanted a matching Chris King / carbon wheelset!
Anyway..... if you have made it this far you now understand why a kit like this exists and why it might be useful.
The Chris King ISO 6 bolt boost conversion kit from MRP was exactly what I was looking for. If you're unfamiliar with Chris King they hubs they make in a lot of cases can be modified using their own proprietary adapters.
They are not super expensive although this kit is half the price...
The benefits of this kit are that it quickly adapts a non-boost 15mm thru axle hub to boost.
The caps fit perfectly over the Chris King ISO hub and the brake rotor spacer and hardware (with locktite!) went on without trouble. Another added benefit is that the front wheel did not need to be re-dished.
Heck I barely had to adjust the brake caliper. The front rotor fit in extremely well after it was torqued to the recommended spec.

Conclusion:
All in all I am very satisfied with the quality of the parts. It seems like an expensive kit but based on the quality of the construction coupled with the ease of install I am satisfied. I am also excited that I will be able to run the wheel on a variety of bikes should I choose since the wheel does not require the re-dish.

I am excited to see how it holds up. I will update this review if I have issues with the kit down the road and will also review the customer support both from the seller and MRP.
