Good quality and these fit over the Alum HOPE cranks perfectly.;

Do yourself a favor and completely skip the "silicone" knock=offs. No seriously they really will not last one "real" ride. The instant you hit a rock they will tear in half. These though are tougher and hard. Like they were actually built for you know mountain biking. I'm a little bummed I had to put them on over my nicked crank arms because...well you read the first two sentences.

As a note the reader is here informed there are multiple sizes...one for carbon cranks one for alloy cranks. This is for the alloy crank version which is the "small" size (apparently...there is an "S" printed on the back). I was slightly apprehensive due to various reviews noting unusual or ill-fitment on their cranks. Glad I got them. The pictures are the fit on the new M7100 SLX cranks...like a glove. While I haven't seen them in person I'll go out on a limb to suggest they will fit the M5100 and M8100 as well. XTR is it's own animal so no guesses there.

Now...one important note on the install. I put these on in December in the northern hemisphere in my garage. In other words it's cold and plastic is not very malleable when cold. I used a heat gun on LOW to get them warmed up and a bit more flexible. Keeping a little warm air on them as they slid on voila. I one review in which the person noted they tore upon installation I'm going to go with user error. Combined with the highly probable scenario that person attempted to force them onto a crankarm which was just too darn big. Sorry but you can't put a Caddy in parking spot made for a SmartCar. If you're in a nice warm climate at the moment leave them out in the sun for a bit before putting them on.

At last have a little less angst the next time your ratcheting that rock garden or feature.;

Cushions the blows when my crank hits rocks. Easy to install;

Product looks pretty good. Nice thick plastic and the blue color matches the fox forks blue accent pretty well.
The small size sold here for my Sram NX cranks perfectly.;

Unfortunately it had to be “resized” a touch through the use of a pocket knife to help make the hole line up with the pedals. I’m not the first person to have this struggle so I went in ready in case this happened.;
