Raceface always delivers for me.. stem is solid sized perfectly and clamps perfectly every time.. I prefer the shorter stems and higher rise/wider bars to get more upright.. and raceface always delivers...;

Needed a 31.8 Stem and didn't look for anything other than RaceFace! Exact fit and function no question. Would I buy it again? Yes! (and many other RaceFace products.);

I got this to shorten the reach on my Trek Marlin 7. While I know that on an XC bike you want a longer stem I just didnt feel centered while on fast downhill trails. You do lose some climbing efficiency but nothing too noticeable if you leave your spacers in the original position. I made the mistake of putting this stem above all my spacers and got horrible pedal bob and was going nowhere amd getting very tired;
