Shimano XT FH-M756-A Rear Hub - QR x 135mm, 6-Bolt, HG10, Black, 36H

I am adapting a 21 speed derailleur bicycle for use as a motorized bike using a 4.4 HP chainsaw two stroke engine. The engine will turn the pedal crank shaft through a gear reduction system and I wanted a well designed and economical rear wheel hub that would accommodate a 10 speed cassette. Because of my size and weight I am using 12 gauge bicycle spokes so will have to enlarge the spoke holes in the hub flanges slightly but I am very happy with the outcome.;

Shimano Deore components are very durable and I would definitely recommend them. I would also recommend inspecting any components with bearings to ensure they are properly greased. This particular hub is a cup and cone with loose ball bearings on both sides. When I opened up the non drive side two bearings fell out. Both sides were in need of grease. Very disappointing to find a new Shimano hub without grease.
I replaced my worn hub with this new one. Overall the hub is outstanding. Great value for the money.;

Great hub. Great price. Too bad Shimano had to go and screw up the American market for their parts. If you can still manage to find one these hubs (front & rear) are a great value.;

I got these as an upgrade to my bike and installed disc brakes and they came out really good. I took a lot of pride in my upgrade and the ride is really smooth! No complaints!;

Not much needs to be said about these shimano xt hubs. They are extremely well made and with proper maintenance will go forever. Got these at a great price and shipped quickly.;
