My experience riding with a punctured Slime tube:
- removed the piece of metal wire from a shredded car tire wire from the bike tire.
- rotated the wheel to spread the slime inside the tube
- inflated to riding pressure
- 1st and 2nd attempt kept riding pressure only for about 1.5 miles. 3rd attempt kept the pressure for about 20 miles.
Conclusion: if you don't want or can't replace the tube this Slime tube will probably get you home. You should pay attention to ensure the pressure doesn't go to low for riding and you don't destroy the tire.
Keep in mind the inside of the tire and the tube will be all covered in sticky slime so make sure you change the tube only when you can clean you hands afterwards.;
