The Vittoria Mazza combines years of athlete input with cutting edge tread technology, raising the bar on the mixed terrain Enduro tire category. Starting with a defined center tread, the Mazza uses deep siping in the direction of rotation, allowing the tire to roll fast while still opposing drift, especially in off-camber terrain. The stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp, but digs in on climbs, making Mazza a top choice for both front and rear use.

  • Approved for use with hookless rims
  • Progressive sipe width for tactile grip on rocks and roots
  • Stepped leading edge center-tread maintains speed, and delivers climbing traction
  • Aggressive profile with ample sipe spacing for mixed terrain

I bought these because Jeff Lenosky runs them and he rides similar rocky rooty terrain. I needed a replacement for a rear Maxxis tire that kept failing and these looked like the next best thing. Turns out I like them better than the DHR DHF and Aggressor that I've used on my hartail up till now. Plus they're $15-20 cheaper.

I added these tires to my son's lower-level hardtail and it felt like a new bike once they were on! We are in New England and ride a ton of janky and rocky conditions - these might be the best tire you can find for that type of riding.

WELL worth the money. They had such an impact that I'd pay 2 or 3 times more than what I paid on here for these tires. highly recommended if you like to push the pace in challenging conditions and ride big terrain.;

I use this as a front tire on all my Mountain bikes. Better grip then the DHF or Magic Marry. The trail casing weighed in at 890 grams in a 27.5 2.4
