Swapped out an old BB30 FSA Gossamer for an Ultegra Crankset on a carbon Specialized bike to match rest of the Di2 group set. This kit works great with the new crankset and also seems to be made very well. I would recommend getting tools to help set the BB in place although the BB kit I bought here installed relatively smooth with minimal effort from tools.;

Great BB to convert BB30 to shimano but make sure the area is clear of any intrusions. This BB takes a bit more room in the BB area than a 'normal' BB30 setup so you may find an odd bolt head or other stub poking into the BB area where this goes. Gently fit this BB into the area and make sure NOTHING is near it before you press it into place. Once in it it extremely stable - very solid BB for your groupset.;

If the bottom bracket shell in your carbon frame is not a BSA threaded type (or Italian thread) it's probably some sort of a 'pressed in' style. Be it BB30 PF30 PFurmom the bearings will prematurely age due to 'walking' inside of the frame. This will cause a creaking sound. And as soon as they first start creaking you start to enlarge the inside diameter of the BB shell. If you ride the creaking bike long enough your BB fitment tolerance in your frame will be like waving a pool stick in the Grand Canyon. Sloppy.

The Wheels Manufacturing bottom bracket system provides you a tight threaded system in which to install your crank. Smooth quiet the way your bottom bracket is supposed to be.

The Wheels Manu standard ABEC 3 bottom bracket is a great value and a good standard grade bearing for the money.

The AC (angular contact bearings) is well worth the ~$25 extra with their better load-bearing capacity and smoothness if you're a quadzilla or Clydesdale rider.

If you live in a dry riding climate and will not put the bike on a turbo and sweat all over it spring for the ceramic bearing system. Yes it's double the cost of the ABEC 3 version and no it will not last twice as long but the wattage you save with the ceramic bearing system will afford you to nab the next township line sprint over the weekend.;

Stopped the squeak from my press-fit bottom brackets. Going string a year in. Close to 1000 miles on it.;

When I realized that I was going to have to spend $100 for a BB I wanted to throw up. I bit the bullet and ordered one from here because I wanted the free 2-Day shipping. I immediately recognized that this is a very well built bracket compared to the Shimano BB's that I was used to. This BB was all machined aluminum and fit into my '16 Tarmac Comp perfectly. The bracket has been solid for the past few months and I'm very happy with it. Worth the price.;
