Much better quality than the Shimano bearings installed perfectly in my Lynskey titanium frame set used finish line
copper anti seize. No adjustment shims needed lined up perfectly easy to adjust the pre load nice solid feel
when pedaling have 475 miles in two months no adjustments needed. Very clear instructions easy to install with one simple tool. Velocio;

My SRAM Omnium BB failed which they're notorious for doing. I was tempted to go with a Chris King or Phil Wood BB but started looking into Wheels Mfg and I found some good review. Seems like they use quality bearings so I went for it and bough this BB with the adapter for my cranks. I installed them like I've installed hundreds of BB's before.. the install went smoothly except for when I was putting the crank arms back onto the spindle. There was JUST enough spindle to get the arms on - but not enough spindle to KEEP the arms on. They tighten just fine but after a 10 minutes ride - my drive side arm fell off. I walked my bike home thankful that I was close by and went home to retighten - and over tighten the arms. Next day I went for another ride (this time bringing tools) and I managed to ride for about an hour before the arms fell off again.

Long story short the spindle on the cranks are just to short for this BB. I ended up buying a Phil Wood BB with Adapter - and I installed them about 3 months ago without issue after about 100 or so miles. Instead of saving some money with these I ended up wasting time. If you can afford it I recommend spending the money the first time and not looking back.

I gave this BB 3 stars because despite the fact that they didn't work as advertised - they do appear to be decent quality bearings - and I believe it was just an adapter issue. So if Chris King or Phil Wood are too expensive you may as well give this a shot if you don't have to buy an adapter. Worst case you can return them and get your money back which I did with ease.;
