I got the same tyre again as the previous one that came with the cross bike a Saxon Cross by Whyte. They fit these as standard front and rear super fast on the road as good rolling resistance but super grippy off road light but they are not cheap. Tight to get in my rims and seating properly is a pain due to wheel having rim tape for tubeless tyres. I prefer to use inner tubes.;

Used it for my entire 2016 cx season. First tire I ever used tubeless so I think that colored my initial impressions of this tire. It set up easily on stan's grail rim though I used a compressor. The high-volume felt good. I do have an issue with the sidewalls seeping sealant as if there are evenly-placed pin-pricks all the way around the sidewall. It's a very slow leak but somehow the sealant never could close it up and I'd regularly have wet-dots all the way around.

Doing some more hill/off-camber work with it before the 2017 season I realized it actually had horrible traction in the grass I usually encounter. The brakes would easily lock it up and start sliding on the grass when others were clearly not having that issue. I thought perhaps I'd worn down the tread but it's not worn at all and I've definitely kept pavement riding to a minimum on it. I'm starting to think the knob pattern is just too tight to really bite into thick grass and I've had much better luck with more aggressive knob patterns (fewer larger knobs that are distantly spaced).;

I'm quickly becoming a huge fan of these tires. They're a great do-everything tire for my Santa Cruz Stigmata: long gravel rides soak up washboard reasonably light enough for climbing good traction and roll well on asphalt. Really easy tubeless set up onto my WTB rims. I think it is important to note these are lightweight and are more suited for racing than as a durable training tire;

good lord i could NOT get these mounted to Stan's Iron Cross. Don't try it it will drive you mad. They went up on my other carbon wheel (Maple).

I have had two sets and two of the 4 tires tore sidewalls. Could be just bad luck in rooty/rocky New England. Also noticed the sealant *really* comes through the sidewalls.

Are the sidewalls an issue here? hmmm.;
