The stem is fine but the bolts it came with both the pinch bolts for securing to the steering tube and face plate bolts were crap. The heads stripped right away. I had to use the bolts from the stem I was replacing instead.

I bought a second-hand bike that had a stem about 125mm long which was a ton of reach for me. I reduced that to 100mm with this stem. I might go a bit shorter to 80 or 90mm although this is already a huge improvement in comfort. Craftsmanship seems spot on although I wish the bolts were allen-keyed instead of Torx. My multi-tool doesn't have a Torx bit in it. Note that the steering head and handlebar diameter on this are both 28.6mm. My weird bike had a stem with 26mm at the handlebars and 28.6mm at the steering head so I needed to add shims to avoid replacing my handlebars.
