So I’m not a huge road cyclist but I am a bicycle tech and have been for 23 years now.
The shimano 105 group set in my opinion is the best FOR THE $$$$. I love my bike but it’s a basic road bike “trek domane”. It had a really basic group set on it. So I decided to swap it over to 105. There’s better out there. But this works just fine. Never fails me.;

Installed onto a friends budget CX bike in order for her to use a larger cassette. Great price on this RD.

30T Max is ONLY ON 3X systems....box states up to 32 on a 2x and I have it hitting and 11-36 on a 1x with NO PROBLEMS and plenty left for the B screw. Just make sure your chain is the proper length...;
