Acheté pour remplacer mon ancien dérailleur qui commençait à fatiguer après 20 ans de services. Facile à installer et à régler aussi.;

Shifts well. This is a solid chunk of metal type of front derailleur. Comes with bike frame paint sparing mounts too.;

This is a decent derailleur I bought it as a replacement for an aged Acera on my 05' Specialized Hardrock Sport 24 speed 3 x 8. It does work well once it is aligned and adjusted but that takes a bit of work and trial and error. It took me a good 2 hours and a few test rides to get it right. I've replaced other front derailleurs without anywhere near as much work. Part of it is because it is a clamp on and getting it aligned correctly is the first part and then getting the travel set properly with an 8 speed rear is a challenge in itself but as stated I have done this before without nearly as much work however those were with higher end equipment and more closely matched to the existing parts. This does come with a pre set guide to align the height setting with the chain ring which helps a bit and it also has a key to hold it open while installing the cable but once I removed that and was in the process of adjusting it's quite difficult to get the cable clamp back together if you end up loosening it enough that the nut comes off the retainer. That was my bad just something to be aware of.;
