Have no idea how it worked.;

Yaw front derailleurs can be a little fiddly to set up. Generally speaking they're very particular in terms of position.

What that means is that you need to be particularly vigilant to line the cage position lines properly and it's absolutely crucial the top of the derailleur be no more than 1-3 mm above the chain teeth at the longest tooth. I myself line the derailleur exactly 2mm above the longest tooth. You also need to be absolutely certain you've set your high and low set points to be 1-2 mm away from your chain in the low setting while ensuring it's 2-3 mm away in the high setting.

If you do the above shifting should be very good at all times and you should experience no chain rub. The only real negative for me is that while shifting perfectly yaw derailleurs are a bit clunky in terms of feel.

In sum recommended but be sure you take it slow and are willing to be a little more particular than you'd be with say a Shimano front derailleur.

Ottimo deragliatore. Va saputo regolare perché differisce dagli altri. Io tra l’altro l’ho montato con leve Sram Red 11v ma corone Shimano e funziona alla perfezione.;

Genuinely surprised at the performance. The front derailleur took a while to set up but afterwards there is never a mis-shift. The shifts are all crisp even under SOME pressure. It's also great that there is no need to trim the front derailleur: the shifter will only ever have "big ring" or "small ring" positions. With the Yaw technology I only hear chain rub on big ring with the two biggest cogs or small ring and the smallest cog. This may be due to my lack of skills in setting up the FD since I am no seasoned mechanic but still impressive for only rubbing at the extremes.
