I've been using SRAM drive train on my bikes for years usually XX XO and X9. Never used the GX parts before but wanted something less expensive for my wife's bike that I was converting from 9 to 10 speed. I am quite impressed by those they are light shift great and they look great. The big difference is in materials plastic vs aluminum or carbon in the higher models but performance wise they seem to be on par. To be honest I am considering using them on my other bikes if I ever have a problem. Not sure $50+ extra per shifter for carbon cover is worth it. Strongly recommended.;

I bought these to do a vintage mountain bike refresh. Had a set on a new fat bike and really liked the shifting so when came time to buy a mountain bike groupset I went with these shifters. Easy up and down shifts like the ergonomics.;
