This tire replaced a WTB Horizon I run tubeless and the sealant was working effectively with goat head thorns however the shaft of goat head would remain and I had to pull them out regularly. I like this tire better because there is more actual tread to catch the goat heads before they reach the casing. The Horizon is almost a slick light and supple this one has the tread raised off the casing and the tread is thicker. The sides are still supple so I don't feel like I lost any ride comfort. Shipping was true 2 day.
