I’ll start of by stating that I am just an enthusiast mtber.

I used the wtb ranger tyres with tubes that came with my bike for a year. Didn’t have much grip and was forever getting punctures. Like literally every time I would take the bike out sometimes even twice.

I decided to go tubeless and have gone from 2.25 to 2.30 with these minions and man the difference is like night and day. I feel so much more confident around corners and rubber compound is just tougher than what I had before.

2 weeks and not a single puncture. Not that I can see anyways using my off tubeless sealant so I’m pretty sure I would have seen if it did puncture.

It took me a while to seat the tyres because I was trying out o do it with a hand pump. In the end I used a co2 canister to pop them into place.

Would buy again for sure;
