These SPD adapters for clipless pedals are awesome. For short family rides or quick trips to the store you might not always want to be dealing with cleats on your shoes. These adapters are made of metal and are very sturdy. They do rotate to the upside down position when your foot is not on it but anyone taking points away for that reason has probably never used road-specific clipless (single-sided) pedals. I am very happy with this product.;

I keep these on my MTB for short rides around the 'hood. The surface does not have enough traction wet or dry to keep my feet on from sliding forward.;

These are cool for shooting to the store or to a buddys house down the street. I use Shimano SPD pedals they clip in fine and seem to have decent traction. I don't think they are all that heavy but they do always spin to the bottom leaving the clip side up but that's to be expected there is more weight on one side...DUH! Not that big of an issue flip it and start riding. These are supposed to be a quick and easy fix for not having to throw on your shoes for a quick ride and THAT...they do!;

Slippery with running shoes
Pedal always goes facing down due to his weight so you have to try to turn it up to put your foot on.;
