Great product. Simple to use. Bright. An excellent safety feature. And an eyecatcher. I plan to order 4 more for my other bike.;

I drilled 1/8" holes near the end of the Nite Ize wings to secure them with zip ties. There are three advantages to this vs. the standard attachment method:

1) Light can be mounted very close to the wheel rim without being too loose.
2) It cannot fall off due to bumps on rough terrain.
3) A thief needs a tool to cut the zip ties and steal the light.

For charging I use two of the lipstick-style USB power banks positioning the Nite Ize close to the floor and attaching the chargers with short cords. These small power banks are otherwise useful as on-the-go cell phone chargers or in a power failure if you keep them charged up all the time.;

I ride at night and early morning to/from work and this keeps me visible. A bit expensive but worth the investment.;

This is my second set of these after the bike with the first set got stolen. The first set I owned was battery powered and when I saw the rechargeable option I splurged because I’m riding more at night now. Not sure if that was entirely necessary because I never had to replace the batteries in my last set. I really like this brand I’ve used the dog tag lights for years and the batteries last all winter. My only complaint is that rechargeable option is a bit bulkier than the original and the button is harder to press so if you have weaker fingers it might be worth getting the original.;
