Das Ding macht seine Arbeit! Eis und Neuschnee ist gar kein Problem. Bin ruhig 25 gefahren jedoch beim matsch hat es laute Nachteile....wohlgemerkt fahren normale Reifen durch den Schneematsch viel besser als Spikes. Man driftet dann nur noch und kommt nur langsam vorwärts. Deswegen -1 Stern. Aber ansonsten empfehlenswert für die Leute die viel mit dem Rad unterwegs sind (auch wie ich - im winter) klingeln kann man sich dabei schon mal sparren sind so laut. Dabei gilt - je schneller desto lauter))) Jedoch sind nicht zum Fahren auf dem Splitter auf der strasse...also wie jetzt da die Spikes ziemlich schnell rauskriegen. Deswegen lieber gleich Ersatz Spikes mitnehmen.;

So far I've taken these out for a short 40km following a 15 cm snowfall. The traction on ice and snow is incredible and has changed my perspective on winter cycling. I was able to ascend steep ice covered roads without any issue at all while passing pedestrians who were slipping and sliding and attempting to stay on their feet with mixed results.

My first ride was a mix of ungroomed snow hard pack pure clear ice and some asphalt which had been cleared by the city. Despite the instructions to bed in the tire on asphalt to set the studs I haven't lost a single stud so far.

These tires have converted my Rocky Mountain Element into a very capable winter bike. Highly recommend these tires!;
