      I found the elastomer prevents full range of the motion that they claim. As it compresses it becomes very firm and limits the motion. I found it to be slower and less active than spring seatposts I tried. I also found it harder to tighten the seat clamp enough to keep the seat from unexpectedly tilting compared to other seatposts.
