I first purchased the Cyclo spoke threader. It was hard to use and finicky. It had plastic on one of the most important parts. Just overall sub-par quality. The Hozan is so much better! First the threads are perfect no issue with rolling. The device is well made and is all metal. The roller needs to be oiled more than you think but it does a great job. Overall I'm glad I baught this. Cost more but is hands down a better product than the Cyclo.

I had a handful of custom spokes to make and this machine was exactly what I needed. If you're going to be doing a lot of spokes (like 100s) this is definitely slow enough that you'll be better off buying one of the multi-thousand dollar machines. But for small low-quantity jobs? Perfect!
