The tools are simple but very effective. Highly recommended for anyone who rides with rim brakes!;

If I worked in a bike shop and brake maintenance was part of my daily routine then I might not need a set of these. But for those of us who do not have that level of experience this Toe-In Tuner is a useful tool. And for those who do not have angle-adjustable brake pads well guess what your pad-angle can be adjusted and this tool can show the thickness of the shimming needed to adjust the pads. All you need is one set of these because they work well and last long for use again and again on many many bikes.;

After viewing a quick YouTube video I went out to my bike. I have never done a one time brake pad adjustment to stop noisy caliper brakes. Five minutes I had all four new pads on and adjusted perfectly. I didn’t know adjusting shims existed until I searched for what I was doing wrong putting on new pads. If you don’t have a set of these you should.;

V-brakes or linear pull brakes are very annoying to align due to the multiple degrees of freedom and the tendency for the pads to twist out of alignment when tightening. And then it’s easy (for me) to forget which direction you are supposed to toe-in.

This removes that. Just align the lip to the top of the rim rotate into place press the pad down and tighten the mounting screw. Done! No more brake squealing!

I also don’t know why so many people have fitment issues. They worked perfectly with my wheel and brake setup.;
