Since changing by SS over to 1 X 11 a cable cutter was needed now and for the future. Park Tool is quality as I've experienced with any tools I have of theirs. This tool performs exactly as it should and will last a lifetime.;

I’ve written very few reviews. This thing cut the shift cable like butter. I tried some other cutters I had but this is next level. Maybe a bit on the pricey side but worth it.;

I don't know who makes there tools but as always you can just hold it and feel the weight of how sturdy these tools are unlike cheap ones that break after a couple use this gives a clean cut on housing and cable.;

For something which has had a several uses for 2 bikes' cabling this has been faultless. After much research for alternatives I can only reiterate several others' comments: would you make life difficult for yourself with something a little cheaper and a little worse?;
