Purchased my first Di2 bike recently and immediately started researching how to expand itÔøΩs capabilities. I ended up adding a few additional shift buttons and this tool is a must to prevent a costly mistake e.g. breaking a wire.

The Shimano tool is ok but this Park tool really gives you the leverage you need to push in and pull out those delicate Di2 e-tube cables without any marring of the cable ends. The advantage of this over the Shimano tool is that the Y shape allows you to use more modulation as you apply pressure so you don't over tighten or "over-lever". This is a core weakness of the Shimano tool. I love how the tool for pushing in the cable end is angled. A lot of thought went into the design of this tool and I am in a little bit in love with it.
