I needed this tool for a DT wheel set with straight pull bladed spokes. The tool worked well in conjunction with the DT spoke nipple wrench. As it turned out I needed this size spoke holder for one side of the rear wheel and a different size for the other side. Drive-side and non-drive-side bladed spokes were different sizes for this wheel. Even though the spoke nipples were the same. So be careful and make sure you have the correct size(s) for your wheel set.;

This tool is great! No more holding the spoke with a pair of pliers and scratching the spoke.;

Exactly what I needed to work on my wheels with bladed spokes. It attaches securely and the elongated design allows you to have control over a much larger portion of the spoke. This in combination with the position of the handle allows you to have control of the lower part of the spoke while turning the nipple eliminating the possibility of twisting the spoke. I will probably buy the other one they have in the smaller size just to have in my box if and when the need arises.;

Beautifully made as you'd expect but it doesn't fit the spokes on my R24 wheels--too small. I don't think DT make a wrench that will fit my spokes.;
