CushCore is an engineered foam insert to be mounted inside a tire, designed to absorb impacts, reduce vibration and increase lateral stability. These characteristics translate to a more controlled, comfortable, and faster ride.

  • The original full-performance version: CushCore PRO allows you to push the limits of your tires and suspension to new levels
  • CushCore Pro is well suited for trail, enduro, and downhill disciplines
  • CushCore allows suspension to work more efficiently by requiring less travel to absorb bumps
  • Tire inserts help to protect the rims and prevent flat tires
  • Reduce shock and vibration over rough terrain
  • CushCore inserts increase lateral stiffness for faster cornering, with better traction and a consistent feel
  • Freedom to run lightweight tires with supple, fast-rolling casings without compromising lateral stability or impact protection
  • CushCore PRO fits tire widths 2.1″ to 2.6″ and inner rim widths 22mm to 35mm
  • Weight: 250 g
  • The system is designed to be used with tubeless-ready or tubeless converted rims and tires, and is compatible with tubeless tire sealants
  • The insert divides the inner volume of the tire in half, maintaining air underneath the tread and the foam insert next to the rim
  • Valve stem included

I bought a set of these and the first one took me over an hour to get on . The next took 10 minutes. The key to install is pushing into the bead of the rim with your hands. I used the tool from them which actually made it worse for me.

I haven’t ridden it yet but I would say the most important part of this game with getting the tire over and setting the bead...(which I’ve done for several years with a $20 bell floor pump) is watching the short official video and dislodging the beading (as he mentions and demonstrates super quickly...because he’s an expert) to get enough slack in the tire to fold into the rim.

That technique made it about a 20mins overall process.

I did use two levers but those should come in play at the very end and if the slack for the tire by that pressing down and in on the tire and cushcore a bit (in the office video) you likely won’t even get to that point where the levers matter much.

Good luck.;
