Was using oem lynskey thru axles and these are better since they don't strip and get stuck.;

Bought this for my wife's Specialized Tarmac. The size in the Specialized manual says 12x142 which is what this said. It sticks out by several threads after screwing it in. Otherwise it works fine and
- You don't have to carry the allen wrench
- It makes taking the wheel off quicker than digging out the allen wrench. (If you don't race that may never matter to you.);
