These work with most Fulcrum and Campagnolo wheels to change the freehub over to Shimano cassettes.;

The rating is for the seller Bikewagon and not the product. I researched to find the part I needed but when it arrived I discovered that it was not compatible. Bikewagon was very helpful in looking up a replacement and then processing my return.;

I needed to replace my Fulcrum Racing S-Five hub as mine had a noise and felt loose inside. This one was the right replacement. I must say if you have never replaced a hub... You need a right tool (serrated wrench.. a tool that car mechanics use) and quite some force to get is loose!;

What I used this for is alittle difficult to explain. I have 2 different bikes one is a 9 speed one is a 11 speed. The 11 speed had narrow tires and wide rims the 9 speed had wider tires on narrower rims so I wanted to switch wheels to get the proper tires on the proper rims. After using an old gear as a spacer the original 11 speed freehub worked fine as a 9 speed. Such was not the case with using the 9 speed hub as an 11 speed so it was necessary to buy a new free hub. While searching the Amazon Freehub line up I came across this one and it appeared to be the same as the one that I couldn't use except that it was 11 speed capable. In comparison the wheel does not spin as easily as it did with the original freehub but the Freehub came with a new bearing already installed. I think that with miles and time on the road that problem will be remedied. There also appears to be more drag from the ratchet pawls then there was on the original unit. This may or may not go away with time. The real reason that I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was: the axle would not go through the Freehub far enough to reach the Freehub bearing. It was necessary to remove most of the bearing flange from the axle itself. After all of that it seems to work fine and it did allow me to accomplish what I set out to do which was get the right size tires on the right size rims and get the proper wheels on the proper bikes. Although this unit does appear to be a spinoff of the original Fulcrum Freehub it does appear to be well made and I feel certain that with time and miles the wheel will spin as free as it did with the original unit.;
