Born in the hills of Kansas, the Flintridge takes its name from the local sharp jagged rocks. A smooth centerline tread pattern that is equally at home on pavement and hard pack. The Flintridge shifts from the fast rolling center to the grippy transition and shoulder knobs for control in loose rock and even mud. The KSCT casing does double duty , reinforcing the sidewalls of the tire with a woven shield to prevent slashes and abrasions while optimizing the casing for fast and easy tubeless conversion.

  • DTC Dual Tread Compound: Kenda's L3R PRO compound (60 shore A durometer) in the center and the cornering knobs have STICK-E compound (50 shore A durometer)

Tires work great out here in Central California where the loose gravel decomposed rock and dry conditions make traction very important. The side knobs hook up well and the center knobs are great on hardpack and blacktop. Great tire!;

Tires were recommended by a buddy. Initial impressions after approx 60 miles of mixed riding. Tires are an Excellent gravel on / off road tire. Surprisingly quiet on the road some drag compared to previous 32c cross tires however inspire confidence on packed / semi loose dirt roads. Look great on the bike actually changed the whole appearance in a desirable way. Reflective letters on the side wall is an added bonus. Usually run 43psi F 45psi R which seems to be an excellent balance (on / off road). Durability my buddy has approximately 1600 mi on his with decent tread still left. Highly Highly recommend these tires I dont think you'll be disppointed I wasn't!;

Occam's Razor

Reviews on other websites say that this tire wobbles. My first attempt at mounting them resulted in the center tread wandering off line. I reseated the beads and there was an improvement but not perfect. Perhaps operator error who knows.

No comment on durability or puncture resistance yet.
