Bought to convert mountain bike to a commuter. Easy to install and good flat protection so far.;

Sehr guter Reifen für die Straße mit den Reifen lässt es sich deutlich leichtgängiger und schneller fahren. Hab sie auf meine 29er MTB montiert. Klare Kaufempfehlung;

I purchased these tires for commuting on my hard tail 29er mountain bike about 100 miles a week. I used these tires with Mr Tuffy Tier Liners & Green Slime tube sealant & have been running them at 45 PSI.
Over the past three months I've put right at 1000 miles of riding on them mostly on highway emergency lanes city sidewalks and a few hard packed trails and grassy shoulders.

I've had 3 or 4 punctures that required the removal of small pieces of steel wire & reinflating the tires that were no big deal. But after about 5 weeks of daily riding I had a blowout in the rear tire that resulted in a long hike-a-bike to work. I patched the tire replaced the tube & sealant and tried to make due with it for a while. A couple of weeks later I had another flat and another gash in the rear tire. I patched the new hole and move my rear tire to the front.

I've lost all confidence in these tires and their ability to get me back and forth to work safely. I've ordered set of Marathon tires to replace these. I'll probably keep the one good tire as an emergency back up. These may be great tires for you but they have let me down.;

I put these on a Giant 29er they fit just about perfectly and are significantly lighter than the stock tires. They ride quietly perform decently in wet conditions and in a bit of off-road but are not great in mud sand or wet grass.;
