Grippy and fast

I've ridden on these new tires just a few times, but so far they have impressed me. On one particular route, the first and last 2.5 miles are on pavement and most of the remainder of the ride is on packed sand. On pavement, the tires are fast, equaling my previous tires which had a slick center tread with knobs only at the sides. On the trail, the tires gripped well, only displaying some instability on very loose sand/gravel. So far so good.

X1 is amazing

By far the best path, trail, gravel tire out there. It’s 35mm width rolls and is nimble as they come. Fast and Responsive. Let’s be real it’s 35mm so it’s not gonna ride like a 38, 40 or 42. I think the comfort compromise vs speed, response, and agility are WELL worth it. I’m sure the X1 40mm is great and blazes past the others in the same width. I opt’d for the 35mm and am super happy with them.
