I've been on a long, difficult, expensive path figuring out how road tubeless does/doesn't work.

There are now three kinds of tires for road bikes.
1. Traditional rims with traditional tires+tube.
2. Tubless rim with tire designed for tubeless rims that MUST use a tube. This is what this tire is.
3. Tubeless rim with a tire designed to be tubeless. (Goop, rim tape, valve stem, no tube) This tire is not that.

The three are not perfectly interchangeable.

If you are like me, new bike with tubeless rims, but don't have an urgent need for tubeless tires , then this is your tire!;
