Axle was made very well. It was just a few cm too short for what I needed it for. Live and learn.;

Seems to be well manufactured and solid and that's why I decided to give it a try as I carry heavy items on my bike so it needs an axle which is a notch up over the average. Time will tell how well this fares; I will be updating.;

I used this to build a "ski bike" out of a standard retail mountain bike. This was perfect for the rear axle. Not sure how durable it will be for the true mountain bikers but it fit my needs. So if you want to use this for a "ski bike" then I'd give it 5 stars.;
