Starting around 5000 miles, my wife’s Specialized Creo was occasionally dropping its chain off the front chainring. At first this seemed to be mitigated by using a new chain. By 10k miles, even a new chain didn’t help and the chain would drop every 20-40 miles. However, replacing the front ring with this narrow-wide wolftooth ring solved the problem completely. Apparently the problem was that the original narrow-wide chainring (from Praxis IIRC) was wearing out, the wide teeth were no longer wide enough. The wolftooth chainring was a direct replacement, even using the same chainring bolts.;

I have a 1x 11 speed setup, and this chainring works great, but must be slightly thinner than my old chainring as my old chainring bolts didn't fit. They were too wide and you couldn't tighten them enough to secure the chainring. I ended up filing the shoulder nuts down by ~0.020 to get them to tighten. Just a little complication I hadn't anticipated.

Since it's been on it's been great. Less noise than my old ring. Chain has fallen off once in ~400 miles of riding, but it was a big hole and I was in a small gear - so I don't think it was the chainring's fault.;
