Mine had no defects? Easy to install needed to buy tool to install. Also around same price I put them on Skyway Tuff 2. I have on an old school late 80’s Haro bike. Made bike look good sound good I would recommend this part.;

It looks shiny chrome. And then when you look closer it looks like its coated with aluminum foil. I'm surprised its not made of plastic underneath the foil. Buuut you get what you pay for!;
