It's not... bad it just wasnt what I expected.

The ingredients label listed "potato flakes" leading me think it would have a consistency of mashed potatoes with eggs and cheese.

Even when opening and seeing diced potato chunks I was thinking no problem that's ok too...

But after adding the portioned amount of water and following Mfg instructions on waiting stirring and more waiting... I was ultimately disappointed to find potato soup with eggs and cheese.

The taste wasn't bad by any means. As another reviewer noted it is in fact very black pepper heavy. But I liked that.

Overall if you approach it expecting potato soup you'll probably like it. It just hadn't been what I wanted at the time.;

I bought this specifically because it was certified gluten free as I have Celiac Disease. I would definitely purchase this item again but it was a bit heavy on the black pepper.;
